Welcome on the Ropki Retreat site!

Our center is one of the several meditation centers of the Karma Kagyu Diamondway Association functioning in Poland.

Ropki Retreat Center was established in 1999 by Lama Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah under the spiritual guidance of H.H. XVI Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje.

Now is directed by our root teacher Lama Ole Nydahl under the spiritual patronage of H.H. XVII Karmapa Thaye Dorje.
Center is situated in the Beskid Niski mountains on the south of Poland.

Our aim is to provide access to Diamond Way teachings and create conditions for meditation during individual retreats and meditation courses,

for people who meditate in our school for some years. 

For all interested in Buddhism we organize public lectures of Buddhist traveling teachers.
